What to Expect ♡

Booking photos should be exciting....not stressful.

My goal with Captured By K is to create a relaxed experience where you can show up, be yourself, and let me capture the moments in between. Whether we're photographing your family, celebrating your senior year, capturing you and your favorite person, or creating content for your brand, I'll help guide you through the process.

Here's what you can expect from start to finish.

01. Choose Your Session

Start by choosing the session that fits what you're looking for.

Once you've found your session, click Book Now to view my available dates and times. Select the one that works best for you and complete your booking.

02. Let's Plan It

Once you're officially booked, we'll start planning the details.

We'll talk about things like:

♡ Location
♡ The overall look or vibe you're wanting
♡ Who will be photographed
♡ Outfit ideas
♡ Inspiration or special photos you'd love to capture
♡ Anything else I should know before your session

Don't feel like you need to have everything figured out beforehand. That's what I'm here for!

03. Getting Ready

As your session gets closer, start preparing outfits and anything special you'd like to bring.

For families and couples, I recommend coordinating instead of perfectly matching. Choose colors and pieces that complement each other while still letting everyone feel like themselves.

For senior sessions, bring anything that represents this chapter of your life—sports gear, instruments, your cap and gown, favorite outfits, or other meaningful items.

Most importantly, choose something you feel comfortable and confident wearing.

04. Session Day ♡

This is where the fun starts!

You don't need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I'll help guide you with posing, movement, prompts, and placement throughout your session.

And don't worry if your kids aren't perfectly still or everyone isn't looking at the camera at the same time.

Some of my favorite photographs happen in the little in-between moments—the laughs, movement, cuddles, tiny hands, and genuine interactions.

Come ready to have fun and let me handle the rest.

05. After Your Session

Once we're finished, I'll go through your images and carefully select the best photographs from our time together.

Each selected image will be individually edited to create the finished Captured By K look.

RAW and unedited images are not delivered.

06. Your Gallery ♡

Then comes the best part!

Your finished photographs will be delivered through a private online gallery where you'll be able to view and download your images.

My typical turnaround goal is approximately 1–2 weeks after your session.

During especially busy seasons, turnaround times may vary. If I ever expect a significant delay, I'll communicate that with you.

Once you receive your gallery, I highly recommend downloading and backing up all of your photographs.

A Few Things to Remember

Weather: If weather makes an outdoor session unsafe or unsuitable, we'll work together to reschedule.

Running late: Please contact me as soon as possible. Because sessions may be scheduled around lighting or other clients, arriving late may reduce your available shooting time.

Kids being kids: Totally okay. We're not expecting perfection! We'll work with their personalities, take breaks if needed, and have some fun.

Feeling awkward: You don't need modeling experience. I'll guide you throughout the session.
