Photography Policies ♡

Thank you for choosing Captured By K! My goal is to make every photography experience relaxed, enjoyable, and as stress-free as possible.

Please review the following policies before booking your session.

Booking & Payment

Your session is officially reserved once your booking has been completed through the Captured By K website and any required payment has been received.

Appointment availability is first come, first served.

Please double-check your selected date and time before completing your booking.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

I understand that life happens!

If you need to reschedule your session, please contact me as soon as possible. I ask for at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

Payments may be transferred to a rescheduled session when appropriate.

Repeated cancellations, last-minute cancellations, or no-shows may require a new payment before another session can be booked.

Weather

Outdoor photography depends heavily on weather and lighting.

Rain, storms, extreme temperatures, high winds, or other unsafe conditions may require us to reschedule.

Cloudy weather alone does not necessarily require rescheduling—overcast skies can create beautiful, soft lighting!

If I determine that weather conditions require a change, we'll work together to find another available date.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time and ready for your session.

If you are running late, contact me as soon as possible.

Sessions are scheduled for a specific amount of time and may be planned around available daylight or another client's appointment. Because of this, late arrival may result in a shorter session.

Additional time cannot always be guaranteed.

No-Shows

A client who does not arrive for their scheduled session and does not contact me may forfeit the session and booking payment.

A new booking and payment may be required to schedule another session.

Image Selection & Editing

Captured By K carefully selects the best images from each session for your final gallery.

Your final images will receive professional editing consistent with my photography and editing style.

Not every photograph taken during a session will be delivered.

RAW and unedited images are not provided. Unless we discuss a proper fee.

Gallery Delivery

Your finished photographs will be delivered digitally through a private online gallery.

My typical turnaround goal is approximately 1–2 weeks after your session.

Turnaround times may vary during busy seasons or due to circumstances outside of my control. If I anticipate a significant delay, I'll communicate with you.

Clients are encouraged to download and back up their photographs after receiving their gallery.

Printing & Personal Use

Portrait clients receive personal printing rights to their delivered photographs unless otherwise stated.

You're welcome to print and share your photographs for personal use.

Images may not be sold, submitted for commercial use, or used to promote a business without permission.

Separate usage terms may apply to branding and property photography.

Editing & Social Media

I love seeing you share your photographs!

When posting your images online, please avoid adding heavy filters or significantly altering the final edit.

Cropping for social media is completely fine.

Credit or tagging Captured By K is always appreciated. ♡

Image Sharing & Privacy

I may occasionally ask permission to share photographs on the Captured By K website, portfolio, social media, or other promotional materials.

Your privacy matters.

Permission to use client images—especially photographs involving children—will be addressed separately. Please let me know if you do not want your photographs shared publicly.

Children & Minors

A parent or legal guardian should be present for sessions involving young children unless arrangements have been discussed beforehand.

A parent or legal guardian must provide any required permission regarding photography and image usage for minors.

Locations

Clients are responsible for following the rules of the chosen photography location.

Some locations may require admission, parking fees, reservations, or photography permits. Any additional location-related costs will be discussed before the session whenever possible.

Travel

Captured By K primarily serves Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas.

Sessions outside my normal service area may be available. Additional travel fees may apply depending on the location.

Any applicable travel fee will be discussed before confirming the session.

Client Safety

Your safety comes first.

I reserve the right to stop, postpone, relocate, or reschedule a session if conditions become unsafe for the client, photographer, equipment, or others involved.

Branding & Property Photography

Branding, Airbnb, vacation rental, and other commercial photography may have different pricing and usage terms depending on the project.

Please contact Captured By K to discuss the property, business, intended use, location, and photography needs before your session when applicable.
