I want your experience with Captured By K to feel easy, comfortable, and fun from the moment you book until your final gallery is delivered. Here are answers to some of the most common questions!

How do I book a session?

Head to the booking section of my website, choose the session that works best for you, and select an available date and time from my calendar.

Once your booking is completed, you’ll receive confirmation with your session details.

Where are you located?

Captured By K serves Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas.

Locations will be discussed before your session. I’m happy to recommend locations based on the look and feel you’re wanting for your photos.

Travel outside my normal service area may be available for an additional fee.

What should I wear?

Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident!

For families and couples, I recommend coordinating colors rather than wearing identical outfits. Neutral, earthy, and complementary tones tend to photograph beautifully.

Once you’re booked, I’m happy to help with outfit ideas or inspiration.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Arkansas weather can have a mind of its own!

If rain, storms, extreme temperatures, or other conditions make your outdoor session unsafe or unsuitable, we’ll work together to reschedule your session.

Cloudy days don’t automatically mean we need to reschedule—clouds can actually create beautiful, soft lighting.

Can I reschedule?

Yes. I understand that life happens!

Please give as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may require a new booking fee or payment before another session can be scheduled.

What if I’m running late?

Please contact me as soon as possible.

Because sessions may be scheduled around lighting or another client’s appointment, arriving late may reduce the amount of shooting time available. I cannot guarantee that your session can be extended beyond its scheduled end time.

What if my child doesn’t cooperate?

Don’t stress about it!

Kids are kids, and they don’t need to sit perfectly and smile at the camera the entire time. We’ll take breaks when needed and capture a mixture of posed and natural moments.

Sometimes the imperfect moments end up becoming the favorites. ♡

Can I bring my pet?

Absolutely—just let me know beforehand!

Please make sure pets are allowed at our chosen location and consider bringing a leash, treats, water, and someone who can help with your pet when they’re not being photographed.

How many photos will I receive?

The number of edited images depends on the session you book.

Your session description will tell you the approximate number of final images included with your package.

How will I receive my photos?

Your finished images will be delivered digitally through an online gallery where you can view and download your photographs.

I recommend downloading and backing up your entire gallery once you receive it.

When will I receive my photos?

My goal is to deliver your finished gallery within approximately 1–2 weeks following your session.

Turnaround times may vary during especially busy seasons. If there is ever an unexpected delay, I’ll communicate with you.

Do you give out RAW or unedited photos?

No. RAW and unedited files are not included with your session.

Editing is part of the Captured By K experience and helps create the finished look you see throughout my work. You’ll receive carefully selected and professionally edited final images.

Can I edit or put filters on my finished photos?

Please avoid heavily editing, altering, or placing filters over your finished images.

You’re always welcome to crop an image as needed for social media. Tagging Captured By K when sharing your photos is always appreciated!

Will my photos be posted on your website or social media?

I love sharing my work, but I also respect my clients’ privacy.

Permission to use images for my website, portfolio, advertising, or social media will be addressed separately. Please let me know if you prefer for your images—or your children’s images—not to be shared publicly.

Do you offer prints?

Your session includes digital images and personal printing rights unless otherwise stated.

You may print your photographs for personal use. Commercial use, resale, or use by another business requires permission.

Do you photograph Airbnb properties and businesses?

Yes!

I offer branding and property photography for small businesses, content creators, boutiques, Airbnb/VRBO hosts, and other businesses.

Property pricing may vary depending on the size of the property, location, number of rooms, and photography needs. Please contact me for a custom quote.

Do you photograph events?

Limited event photography may be available depending on the date, location, and type of event.

Contact me with the date, approximate number of hours needed, location, and a little information about your event for availability and pricing.

I feel awkward in front of the camera. Will you help me pose?

Absolutely!

You don’t need to know what to do before you arrive. I’ll help guide you with posing, movement, placement, and prompts throughout your session.

My goal is for your photos to feel like you, not like you spent the entire session worrying about where to put your hands. ♡
